Formlabs Fuse1 SLS 3D Printer System
Finally released from Formlabs, the "Fuse1" prints final parts using nylon sintering.
Fuse1 is an SLS printer developed and manufactured by the American company Formlabs. It generates parts by irradiating nylon powder with a ytterbium laser to sinter it. Within a box measuring 165×165×300mm (W×D×H), it is possible to print multiple shapes in three dimensions all at once. Since support structures are not needed (the unsintered powder serves as support), complex assembly parts can be printed freely. After printing, removing the powder allows the assembled moving parts to function.
